Difference between IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training
Most of the universities and institutions accept the IELTS academic scores for higher education in foreign countries. The admission of the candidate into an undergraduate or postgraduate course is based on the IELTS academic score. On the whole, most of the top universities require IELTS academic overall scores of above 7.0 Band and sectional scores not below 6.5 band, as IELTS 2020 eligibility criteria.
